Privacy Policy
Crew Fitness is designed for deliberate sharing with a small private group. Health access does not, by itself, permit Crew Fitness to show data to another person.
Who operates Crew Fitness
Ethos Agency LLC operates Crew Fitness. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to crewfitness@ethosagency.co.
Information we may collect
- Account information, such as an account identifier, email address, display name, and age-eligibility confirmation.
- Crew information, such as invitations, membership, sharing choices, reactions, and block or leave actions.
- Connection information, such as source type, authorization status, sync status, and last successful sync.
- Health and fitness information that you authorize from Apple Health or WHOOP. Initial categories can include workouts, sleep, WHOOP strain, and WHOOP recovery.
- Security and support information needed to prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and answer a request.
We do not plan to collect precise workout routes. We do not plan to request WHOOP profile or body-measurement access during the first beta.
How we use information
- Provide account, invitation, device connection, sync, and private Crew features.
- Create source-labeled summaries without claiming that different device metrics are equivalent.
- Apply your sharing choices and show you who can view each shared category.
- Protect the service, investigate errors, and meet legal duties.
We do not sell health data. We do not use health data for advertising. We do not place health values in advertising systems, notification text, or general analytics.
Sharing with your Crew
Device authorization and Crew sharing are separate choices. Before any health summary is available to another Crew member, you must review and confirm the categories and audience. You can stop sharing, leave a Crew, or block another member. The service is designed to remove stopped categories from shared views.
Service providers and sources
We may use Apple, WHOOP, Supabase, and Cloudflare to provide device access, hosting, authentication, storage, security, and delivery. These providers process information under their own terms and our service arrangements. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect people and the service.
Retention and deletion
We plan to keep information only while it is needed for the service, security, or a legal duty. A user will be able to disconnect a source, request an export, and request account deletion. Verified deletion requests will remove account data from active systems, subject to limited backup retention and legal requirements.
Security
We plan to use encrypted network connections, server-held provider secrets, restricted database access, and tested authorization rules. No online system can provide absolute security.
Age and location
The first beta is for adults who are at least 18 years old in the United States. Crew Fitness is not directed to children.
Your choices
You can control source access through Apple or WHOOP. You can also change Crew sharing within the app when the beta is available. Contact us to ask about access, correction, export, or deletion.
Changes
We will post material policy changes on this page and update the effective date. We will provide an in-product notice when a change requires attention.
